About Partner Stores, Inc.

Partner Stores, Inc. is located in the Grand Rapids metropolitan Michigan area.

What we do is bring together multiple vendors who we have either formed an affiliate relationship or actually represent them to you the potential buyer of their products.  The idea is for you to be able to locate your needs from one source rather then bouncing all over the Internet locating products.  We will have arts and crafts from local artisans as well as from nationally known artists.  We will have product that we purchase for resale from a few good vendors in the USA.  Some products may be from other countries because we won't have complete control over the manufacturing process.  However, our goal is to do what we can to insure that it does not contain metallic substances that the FDA says is bad for you.

Our history goes back some 20-years when we opened shop as C & R Business Systems Ltd.  That company is the forerunner for Partner Stores, Inc.   C & R was renamed Partner Stores, Inc. in October 2007 to better describe what we do.

C & R, at one time was a Gold dealer for software modules produced and marketed by SBT Corporation, which sold itself to Computer Associates in 1996/1997 time frame.  We were also a Gold and Silver dealer for many other concerns although most of our work was doing technical support and help desk processes for the products we sold and installed.

We decided in 2000 to shutter C & R because we were doing more business in another corporation we formed in 1997 for Internet web site designs.  However, we did not legally close the C & R corporation; only declared it as inactive.  Our owners continue to run the Internet business under the Sunset Promotions, Inc. corporate status.  Little by little, what C & R did was beginning to squeeze itself into the promotions business almost to the point that it was difficult to explain what the company represented.  And that is the reason why Partner Stores, Inc. is taking the place of C & R Business Systems Ltd.  It has to do with all the partnering our owners were doing with their Internet promotion business.  It's back to basics for that company as we integrate into Partner Stores, Inc. that part of Sunset Promotions, Inc. which doesn't fit the model that it is.
